Samburu, 3

After crossing the Uaso Nyiro River we ventured to Buffalo Springs National Reserve south of the Samburu wildlife area. For the first time we photographed the Grevy’s zebra┬ádisplaying┬áno stripes on the belly, as opposed to the Tanzania zebras. We had a rare look at a striped hyena so different from the common spotted hyenas of both Tanzania and Kenya. Finally we noticed the reticulated giraffes of Kenya diverged from the Masai giraffe in both color and spot pattern.
